About me

For me, supporting women and families during this special phase of life is much more than a job—it's something I live wholeheartedly. Being a midwife means being there for me: with expertise, experience, and a listening ear. I see it as my mission to empower women on their individual journeys, to support them, and to create space for their questions, concerns, and decisions.

The path to my current career wasn't entirely straightforward: I originally planned to become a flight attendant for Lufthansa, but the coronavirus pandemic put a stop to that. I then began studying economics in Würzburg, which I dropped out after two semesters to pursue a career change. In October 2021, I began the dual degree program in midwifery science in Erlangen, which I completed at the end of March 2025. Since then, I've been very happy and grateful to have found my place.

During my studies, I was able to gain valuable insights into obstetrics: I learned about and appreciated both outpatient obstetrics as part of home birth care and clinical obstetrics – from Level 1 university hospitals to small Level 4 hospitals.

It's important to me to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in my work. That's why I regularly participate in continuing education courses and will also be starting a part-time master's program this fall to further expand my knowledge of women's health and scientific work.

In my work, I pursue a holistic approach: I believe that body, mind, and soul belong together. This understanding is also incorporated into my care through my continuing education:

  • Yoga (Kundalini Life & Teacher Training Level 1, Nam Terath St. Georgen)

  • Nutritional counseling with a focus on Ayurveda (IST Study Institute)

  • Pilates (postnatal trainer, Pilates Academy Munich)

  • Kinesiological taping (Bittner Seminars Fürth)

In addition to my job, I have a great passion for sports: Whether it's Hyrox, athletics, or Pilates – I value exercise as a valuable way to relax. I also love being outdoors in nature and recharging my batteries there.

It is something special for me to accompany women on their journey to motherhood and to support families during this intensive time – reliably, professionally and with a holistic perspective.
